NOTES - Your success stories :

30 days postop UKT - - Posted by retiredguy (retiredguy), 12 April 2004

Had a UKT on March 9 04/   Grin
This was 8 months after my "GOOD Knee" gave out due to Osteo-arthrithis developing 40 years after medial med was performed.

ROM bending is 106 degrees straightening is about 90 %.  Walking with no assistance in the house - cane on the street / in the office (just in case).

Physio 3 times a week...he says I'm am progressing quite well but I still have some pain where the appliance is..inside right knee. Sleeping about 3 hours at night....knee is quite stiff when I awake.

Compared to 1981 ACL surgery when I was taking daily physio for 8 months before I could get back to work, this is a cake walk....

If a UKT is in your future I total recommend it.
