Well, I had my PKR on the 28th. I am doing great and am unbelievably pleased with it. I have gotten rid of about 80% of my pain and am doing great. I have even scheduled my cat scan for Friday morning to get the prosthesis ordered for my right leg to be done in January. My right leg is so weak and unstable it is hindering my PT. I am stuck on the walker bc I need the stability. I already put most of my weight on the left knee. If it weren't for the right leg I would be with a cane just in case and living fairly normal.

Congratulations and good going. I am glad that your surgery has helped and you are close to pain free ( I wish). Good luck on getting the 2nd one done and I hope it goes as well for you as this seems to have gone.

Wow, thats great to hear. You must be so pleased to be that free of pain after so long. You must have great confidence in your OS now to do your other knee. Just think, early next year you might be doing the marathon, LOL, well anyway, getting around with ease. I bet you cant wipe the smile off your face. Well done girl
