Meniscus :

Had scope for meniscal tear in April.  Has anyone had pain in their calf, about two inches below the knee and about two inches outside of the shin bone?  It feels like the muscle but am worried about something worse.  Pain, when it is present, does not go away.  Thanks and well wishes to everyone.

It's very common to have calf pain after surgery. After my last one my calf hurt more than my knee. But, there is also the possibility of a blood clot so you need to have an ultrasound to rule that out. Most of the time it's fine but there's no sense in taking a chance.
