A T.T.T. is an osteotomy. An osteotomy is a general term, meaning 'cut bone', and implies that a bone is cut and re-aligned. In the case of a T.T.T. it is the 'tibial tubercle' bit of bone which is cut, i.e the bump an inch below the kneecap.
