hey good luck!!!
you might get a little nervous before the game about the knee but once you get in the groove it feels like your back better than ever
also make sure you leave plenty of time to warmup/ stretch, and if you start to hurt, dont ignore it, take a rest
have fun!!

haha. believe, commit, finish. (bcf) you'll be fine... just start out slow til you get back into the swing of things. relax and play your game.
Good luck!

breathe......just relax. you fell off the horse and worked your a** off for 5 months, now its time to get back on. you're ready for this, you've been ready for this. sure you're nervous, but once you get through the first few minutes all of those feelings are just gunna slip away. i remember my first (hockey, goalie) game back....i was a wreck. it took me a couple of minutes and a few saves before i remebered what a great feeling it was just to be in the game. just have faith in yourself, you'll be alright.

hey catie, why push yourself and make yourself nervous?
set a goal, go through the warmups, play a few sequences and call it a day. see how you feel. extend your court time from there. that's my 2 cents.
there is plenty of time to get back. is your expectation to play at your highest level in your first game back? I think it's about trusting your knee, not getting a triple double.
what does your coach, surgeon and PT suggest? have they worked with returning acl-injured athletes in the past? perhaps there's another acl-recovered hoopster you can talk to.
good luck from downtown!
