I had a "simple" meniscus tear removal and debridement of the knee cap in Oct 04. Yes, I am still limping too! Some days are better than others. I guess the stiffness after sitting too long is really bothersome. I also have significant pain if I walk too much. Where's the happy medium?! The doctor said they could try cortisone shots after 4 or 5 months. I haven't gone back to see him since Dec. He said to give it another few months to heal. I bought a recliner at home and try and ice in the evening. I'm not sure if the surgery helped or not. I DO "feel your pain"............

yes you feel my pain...I feel yours.
But we have to plod on.
I also had surgery(simple medial partiel menisectomy) on Oct 4th In London hope by not the same surgeon on a bad day!!
Where do you feel your pain? I am really working on quad strenght for if surgery needs to be repeated quad strenght is of prime importance.
How long have you been advised to wait?
Its 4 months for us both have they given you a time scale?
