Hi,
Keep yourself busy, tidy the house from top to bottom, spend time with friends, go shopping, get some good videos/DVD's in ready, make a comfortable corner with all the essentials there like remote controls, CD player, computer, magazines etc at easy reach.

Dont worry, it will be over sooner than you think and you will then be on the road to recovery.
Before you know it, you will have a new knee and be back playing all your favourite sports again.

Make the most of your time off.

Hiya

Ive had several surgeries and can remember being really nervous about my first.
Try and focus on the benefits and bonuses you are going to get after the surgery compared to the problems you are having now....
Try and think of other things as much as possible until the 4th and believe me you wil be in hospital one minute and it will be over the next!! and then you can focus on recovering.....

Good luck and dont panic....you will be back on your feet before you know it!

hiya

i have had the same done as you are having done and i have to say i was bricking it !!!

i found there was no real need to worry its now 12 days since my op and i feel great my scar has healed ok had a couple of worries after the op which this site eased thanks heather lol

your biggest worry has to be the boredom of the excercises !!

but remember c.d's dvd's and video games help with the first week !!!
