Hello,

Has anyone heard much about Carticel II? Last week I called Genzyme to ask a general question about Carticel. In passing, the medical rep mentioned Carticel II, but then hurriedly said that it could possibly be years away.

I started researching & found that Carticel II can be done arthroscopically, significantly reduces patient rehab time and enables surgeons to treat larger and  more degenerative defects. Unfortunately, it is still at preclinical stage but sounds very interesting! Wish they could speed it up!
