Does anyone know of a doctor in Texas (preferably in the Houston area) who would be a good choice to do a osteotomy (HTO)? I went to one doctor in Houston who was recommended to me by my OS. But, the doctor recommended a Unispacer instead and was pretty negative about an osteotomy. He said the only doctor who has alot of experience with osteotomy is in NY.

HI Sue, I used to work with a OS many  years ago.  I have recently had a lot of problems with my left knee. I live in Austin and had some surgery done here.  I went to San Antonio to see Dr. John Alan Evans,  he is recommending an osteootomy on me. I am a 39 year old active female . I would highly recommend him . Tell him Kat and Micky sent you. He will be doing my operation this summer. Good luck
