I suffered a tib plateau break just over a year ago now but recently when I have been doing exercise I have been noticing a dent appear in my leg. It tends to disappear once I stop exercise. It is no where near the fracture site, in fact its quite far down my leg. Is this connected to my fracture do u think?? 
It doesnt hurt so Im not too concerned but it just looks really weird and people do point it out to me so it must be noticeable to them. Could it be due to muscle wastage?? Any ideas would be greatyly appreciated. Thanx!!

Sorry that I cannot be 100% sure, though sometimes I have noticed that after I have had something on my leg on my calf or something, I notice some indentation which I think indicates swelling of the tissues. This may be what you are having possibly. Hope that helps!

Interestingly enough, I have noticed a dent from time to time, but mine is somewhat near the fracture site. It is on the inside of my right leg just below the knee sort of halfway between the front of the shin and the side of the leg. I am not sure what causes this other than something related to the injury. I haven't pin pointed it to happening during exercise however.
Not sure if this is much help, but just to know that there are others of us out here with dents (other than in our heads - ha ha)

Thank u both for ur replies. Im not too worried about it at the mo but if it keeps appearing then I may well enquire further. Its just ever so odd!!

hmmm i have a dent also, but i reckon its just where the fatty tissue has gone and no doubt by the amount of food i eat will no doubt re-appear in the years to come!!!!
if it aint broke dont fix it!!!!
