KNEE ARTHRITIS - General principles of managing Osteoarthritis of the knee :

I am 31 and have osteo arthritis in both knees due to extensive surgery to reconstruct the anterior cruciate ligaments.  I have recently read about trials that have been conducted using therapeutic tape, they have apparently had a remarkable effect on minimising pain and increasing movement.  Does anyone know where this tape is available to the uk?  Would my GP know about the tape? How is the tape applied…is there clear instruction on it?
