Collateral Ligaments and other non-cruciate tendons & ligaments around the knee :

petrlla tendon - - Posted by wellby (wellby), 3 April 2004

Nine weeks ago I had a workplace injury, I was hit with a piece of steel that was moving at a high rate of speed. I ended up with a tibial plateau fracture and my petella tenfon cut in half, the surgen reatached the two pieces. The bone is healing well but the doc is still concerend about the tendon staying together and getting full movement back in my knee. Does anyone have any experience with this type of injury any help would be great.   Mark

Just noticed your post on patellar tendon break.. We have a thing going in this in:

DAILY BULLETIN...CRISIS BOARD...Ruptured Patellar Tendon Surgery.

It's the wrong place, I know, but we just ended up there!

Come and join in.
