Joint hypermobility disorders :

General aches & pains - - Posted by saz (saz), 1 October 2004

Hi I've been diagnosed hyper mobile for about 12 years I've had the cartilage out of the left knee & an arthrotomy and retro patella scrape on my right as I had a plica and chondromalacia.  Does anyone else find that there aches are worse when the weather changes in the autumn, currently left knee and right shoulder are grating like hell and are both really painful, my rheumatologist keeps discharging me with the words "you have hypermobile syndrome" lose weight and come back if it gets worse,  he hasn't examined my knees or shoulder and I haven't been X-rayed since the right knee op and that was the orthopaedic surgeon anyone else having similar problems?  Also have problems with numb fingers both hands in the mornings nerve conduction tests show normal range.
HELP! Undecided
