Overuse problems of the knee :

Has anyone had surgery to remove the bump or fragments of the bump? I was wonder what to expect. I am 22 and i have had OSD since i was 13. Did the physical therapy when i was young. and just recently was put on celebrex, which did nothing. i went and got a 2nd opinion and the new dr. told me that surgery was necassary at this point...... anyone that has had the surgery aan you please let me know how to deal with it?
