Meniscus :

had my lateral menicus repaired 6 weeks ago and still having the same symptoms after surgery. Doc said repair has been done but knee still poping whenever doing tiny flexion tough theres no pain. suspected im having maltracking problem which lead to the meniscus torn. Could anyone help or could at least put up some advice...new to this buletin and would very much appreciate on any comments posted.....

Hi Bradley,

I have had 3 surgeries with one of my knees on the medial side and a forth one which the doctor really does not want to do because that will be the end of my meniscus it will be gone, you my have tore it again the only way to find out is an MRI or another scope, I am sorry to hear about your battle with your knees they can be a huge pain.

I had several things done to the other knee and it is not doing well at all. I am afraid my cane has become my best friend and it will be by my side for a while.

I hope your O.S. can give you some relief for I know pain all to well.

I hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas and I hope the New year brings you help for your knees.

Hi Bruser, thanks for the posting but still wondering what is the best for the prob. Some said patient is an important key and hope that applied to your prob too. I looked around all the historically comment posted and really nothing much can be done at the moment. Guess we both have to wait longer to see any improvement. Bradlee, sometimes the O.S. has to go in several times I hope this not the case for you, I am finding out that these scopes are not what they are cracked up to be for many people, don't get me wrong some people do very well, my family doctor thinks that I am having some kind of reaction to surgeries and my body is rejecting them he wants me to hold off on anymore for awhile and I think that is a good idea.
