Knee puns

Since I had my surgery 11 days ago, I have heard or come up with more than a few knee puns.  Thought I'd share a few and see what others had heard...

"I kneed a break"

"Get down on your knees and thank God you still have a leg to stand on" (Card from my mom two days after surgery)

"Keep it elevated means the leg, not the blood alcohol level" (surprisingly, mom once again)

"Do you kneed anything?" (Any combo of need/kneed works)

I have heard a ton more but my brain is not working this morning. (it is the weekend)

Hi,
Mine is not that funny though I could have clonked the girl who said it.  She was the receptionist and she was telling me the type of footwear to wear to this pt appt where I was going to be assessed.  She told me not to wear heels.......As if I could with a stuffed knee!

My friends are having a blast with "screwed" as I have now have two screws in my leg.

Their favorite is "Maybe you've got a screw loose."

how bout i don't kneed to feel this bad anymore...

and just for me and the hip victims..i'm hip to that pain and scenario..

i know lame but so are we..and so is the continuing knee gar-bage taking up so mch of out time and energy..

My general practitioner has a very dry sense of humour. I have a fused left hip that causes lots of back pain and (before my TKR) had what he referred to as terminal osteoarthritis in my right knee.....one day in his office he looked at me and with a straight face said, "you don't have a good leg to stand on, do you?"
He paused and then chuckled in a rather self-satisfied manner. YIKES!
