« on: July 01, 2004, 03:50:47 AM »
HI
Uggg I swear everything that can go wrong will. I was driving to work this morning and i go to stop at a stop sign my brakes go all the way to the floor and i keep sliding. I figure out how to stop the car and get over to the side of the road. I go to grab my cell phone and guess what i left it at home. Now every other day of the year i take that damn thing with me but the one day that i need it...So i have to walk to find a phone. I live in the middle of nowhere so there is no pay phones or anything like that. So i had to walk a mile. I am 4 and half weeks post op and just started pt so walking that far killed. I walked into one of my friends work places and used her cell to call the tow truck...I didnt have my wallet. Earlier this morning my purse spilled in the back seat and i thought i got everything but nooooo. So I had to find the stupid number....very annoying. So called the tow truck to get it.  He came and i got in wih him to go back for it. Got it towed to the mechanics and they look at it for me. 650 doller repair. OMG im going crazy. I swear everything goes wrong at the same time. My knee is know nice and swollen. So i guess i will go ice and elevate it...and maybe taake some meds. Guess im just venting I hate bad days
Hope ever body else is having a good day!! ::)

I felt like this when I found out I had to have this darned 3rd knee surgery 5 weeks before our long awaited for baby (by adoption) is due to be born.  It's like -- hey we've waited five yrs for a baby - why now???

I am so sorry you had to have such a CRUDDY day!  Ice that poor knee and rest it up tonight.

UGH!

Hey !!!

Yes, does these awful things never come alone so one can deal with them. Nop, for me they always come three at a time. So I really now how ugly your day was.
I hope though your knee feels better soon. Take really good care of yourself and spoil yourself a bite after this terrible day. You are worth that.
