Knee ligament surgery
« on: March 11, 2018, 04:26:13 AM »
Hi, Iíve just had Date for my Knee Ligament graft surgery, in just over 4 weeks time. I have to be honest, I am a little scared about how I will get around after, and still look after my 6 year old little girl. I am in my 40ís healthy and normally active.  My knee is laterally subluxed and currently have limiting walking for distance and motion. Any advice and tips would be gratefully received.

Hi Claire

Are you having the MPFL reconstruction? I assume if your knee laterally subluxes and dislocated you are.

I am due to have this surgery in 8 weeks and am pretty anxious too. Not as much about the procedure - but the afterwards - the pain / mobility and recovery.

Hope all goes well for you.

Knees can certainly be a pain!!
