Knee Brace for a Softball catcher?
« on: November 14, 2017, 06:11:24 PM »
My 13 year old daughter dislocated her left knee on Sunday. She is a catcher for her Travel Fastpitch team and is in need of a Great brace she can play in that will help stabilize her knee cap. We are a military family and the military doctors are refusing to refer us to a specialist since this is the first time it has happened. I was a softball player 20 years ago and had the same issues as my daughter and every time it got worse which is what I am trying to avoid with my daughter.

We have very loose joints, any recommendations for braces she can play in that will help?! She is always crouched down behind the plate so they must give her the ability to crouch comfortably. There are so many options, help!

I am sure others will chip in here, but I would think a light do-nut brace like this might be good https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00NOW64I8/ref=sspa_dk_detail_1?th=1
