First Time Poster!! Early removal of hardware and MUA
« on: November 10, 2017, 09:57:10 PM »
Hi Everyone

I am currently at week 14 post opp today.

A little bit about my injury:

I fell over while walking down a ramp in work and fell right on top of my right knee fracturing my patella in 3 places, 2 days later i had surgery my surgeon fixed me up with two screws and a wire around my patella. At 4 weeks post opp i started PT currently i am still only at 60 ROM.

I have struggled with ROM all the way through my recovery and its hit a wall at 60. My surgeon has decided to do a MUA and remove my hardware at the same time.

Does any one have any experience with this or can anyone ease my mind slightly ?

Thanks x
