MRI additional info.
« on: August 31, 2017, 04:50:37 PM »
I wanted to add more from the MRI I had done to see if it would explain more of what it showed. Medial meniscus: The free margin of the mid body of the medial meniscus is somewhat irregular and mildly truncated compatible with a free margin tear. Additionally there is a vague 3mm wide zone of increased signal at the junction of the body and posterior horn which extends to the superior articular surface with a slight concave deformity of the meniscus in this area. This may represent an indistinct tear versus a meniscal contusion. There is also a 1.5 mm rounded area of degenerative signal in the central posterior horn of the medial meniscus.
