Hi Everyone -

I'm considering having the MACI procedure done to my left knee to correct a large defect on my patella (constant pain & limiting ADL), however, if it fails, protocol is to go in and do a partial knee replacement. I'm only 25 years old though, and the idea of swapping out part of my joint for metal makes me a little uneasy.

Does anyone here have a similar story, or had a partial at such a young age? How was the success of the procedure?
