Delayed Euflexxa Injection?
« on: October 29, 2012, 05:55:19 PM »
Hi Everyone,

I am supposed to have my second injection of euflexxa into my knee tomorrow but due to the hurricane on the East Coast I think my appointment is going to be cancelled. Has anyone else had to get one of these injections delayed? How bad is it?

Thanks,
Joan

When was the last one?

I had something similar earlier this year (Ostenil) and I think anything between about 10 and 21 days between jabs is ok

What did your doctor say - probably the best placed to advise :)
Came off bike onto concrete 9/9/09
LK arthroscopy 8/2/10
Partial meniscectomy, mfx not needed - smooth scar tissue over OC lesion, shaving of lateral aspect of patella - grade III defect
2nd scope on 16/12/10, chondroplasty & Durolane jab
Cartilage damage on femur & tibia
Knee being ignored ;-)

They were scheduled exactly one week apart, I had my first one last Tuesday. I haven't talked to my OS yet because they have only cancelled appointments for today so far and I am hoping they won't for tomorrow, even though they probably will. I can probably reschedule my appointment in that time frame.
