« on: October 17, 2012, 02:29:51 PM »
When i am properly warmed up i can easily, for the most part, touch my heel to my butt. when I am not warm my heel has about a 5 or 6 in. gap to butt.  i had acl surgery in dec 2011 and is now oct. 2012.. just wondering if  thats good progress

I honestly don't know if that is good progress or not, but I had surgery about 10 months ago and can attest to that statement.  I can't just sit and slide my heel up that far.  Though once I stretch it a couple of times it will go farther and farther each time.  I had a LR and medial plication not ACL repair though....

Hi there

Well I had an ACL reconstruction and LCL & cartilidge repair in October 2011.  Had a manipulation in January and I still cannot sit on my heel! After a fair bit of stretching I can just about touch my heel, but it is very painful. Sorry, I suppose thats not much help... Im just wondering myself how long it takes for the pain on attempting to stretch to ease off!!
