I found this great site while trying to research information about my recent surgery. I had microfracture surgery and a notchplasty about 17 days ago. About 11 days after surgery I started noticing the beginning of small itchy bumps on my surgical leg. Now I have a rash from my ankle to my mid thigh on my surgical leg. The rash is small itchy bumps, they almost have small little white heads. But they don't seem to be filled with anything. Any idea what is going on? I think it might be related to the betadine or whatever they used to prep my leg for surgery because it is distinctly concentrated on my surgical leg and seems to cover the area where the dye was applied, although it's not on my foot which was covered in the dye too. I called my doc a few days ago and he suggested Benadryl and said to use my brace sparingly. He thought it was odd for me to be reacting to the dye so long after surgery and thought it might be a reaction to the brace. Anyone have a similar experience?
