For those who have been following my never-ending knee saga, here is an update. I saw my OS yesterday. It has been nearly 10 months since the allograft/MCL reconstruction. I was making very slow progress until May/June. Around that time I hit a wall. I have always had pain when I walk. That never has gone away even with 4 surgeries. I hit a stand still where there was no improvement but no decline either. Than in July things slowly started moving backwards. I am at a point now that I don't want to go anyplace because I have to walk. I want to grab my crutches so I don't have to put weight on it. OS thinks that the knee cap could be the culprit. I am seeing his collegue next Tue for a second opinion. If he agrees than I will probably have an arthroscopic procedure just to look to see what is happening. I am at the point where I just want them to replace the stupid thing. I want my life back

OS says I am too young to have the replacement (I'm only 40) but what good does it do me to sit for 10-20 years in this much pain.
Well that's where I am at. As always feel free to ask me questions.
