Hello all.  I recently had a Kenalog-40 injection to my left knee and I was wondering how long the benefits "typically" last.

I have lateral chondromalacia of the lateral facet of the patella as well as a sub-chondral cyst in the area of thinning cartilage and my microfracture last year.  My history is in my signature.

After the day of the injection, my knee is feeling better and although the pain is not gone, it has diminished quite a bit.  I can still agitate it quite a bit with some activities but my QOL is better.

Thanks for your feedback!

I talked to my OS office and the front desk said that the injection should last 4-6 months!  My research on the Internet says 4-6 weeks?

What are your experiences please?  I would like to reconcile the gap here :)

Thank you!
