Just tried the kinesio tape today at therapy. I've been getting a lot of pain in the MCL area, today they put the tape on and it definitely relieved the pain. Who would've ever thought a little piece of tape would relieve pain. I was pretty superstitious of it but now I'm a believer...:)

Hi there,

You might want to check out another brand.  When my friend who is a trainer taped me for practice a week ago it stayed for 5 days, showers and all.

I think it has a lot to do with me being as hairy as a Sasquatch too...:).  I might shave my knee up so it lasts longer. It really does help.

Hi guys,

I checked and the brand is kinesio tex gold.  Kerrie orders it from northstartherapeutics.com  .  The phone is 715-262-8400.  According to Kerrie(my trainer friend) this sticks better and doesn't bubble when you put it on and is less likely to fray than the cheaper brands.  She says it is worth the little extra you pay.

Happy shopping :)

Yep, that's the same brand they use at my PT. I shaved my knee last night and the tape seems to be holding up well.

Glad to hear it is finally sticking well.  Hope it works as well for you as it has for me.  Isn't it amazing what a little bit of tape can do!
