Pufferpink: what I took your ambiguous comment to mean was that swimming had no impact on recovery or  quad strengthening.  If, what you meant, was that swimming is a non-impact activity, then I entirely agree, but it sounded to me, like you were dismissing swimming as the very beneficial activity that it is.

Absolutely the opposite!  I swim a LOT--it's the best thing I've ever done for my body.  ;D
