Hi, my 16 yr old son had trochleoplasty 6 days ago, and still cannot use his thigh muscle. the exercises he has been given to do include raising his foot off the bed, whilst lying with a cushion under his knee. His foot doesn't move at all,  no matter how hard he tries. It's not the pain that is stopping him, it just doesn't seem to work! is this normal?
