Hey Lottie,

Thanks for the post.  It's been a little while..... I was bogged down with Uni (all finished for the year - YAY) and have just returned from a week at the beach.  It was so nice to get away and forget about medical visits for a week.  We had beautiful Spring weather and the girls enjoyed lots of swimming and beach play.  I had a good time but did get a bit 'down' that I couldn't do what I usually love - walk on the beach, go for a run, swim in the ocean or ride my bike.

Knee stuff:  my physios have given up on getting the knee to bend.  It is stuck at 15 degrees movement and hasn't changed since I first injured myself 4 months ago.  I'm now waiting to see my OS in two weeks for the next step of the journey.  My job for the next two weeks is to get my quads stronger and to try to improve my walking.  I can now limp without crutches which is very exciting and I can just lift my foot off the ground.  I need to get this stronger before my next surgery/procedure.

THe hospital has been amazing and I have seen so many specialists without long waiting times - no one can give me answers but they all give me little suggestions to make life easier.

I start back with music classes tomorrow - can't wait!  I'm really hoping I can handle it without too much pain or tiredness.  Time will tell.

I hope you are doing OK.  Have you had more PT training with all the boys?  It's something my husband and I have considered in the past - for interests sake rather than making it a job.

Better go and unpack and get the girls ready for school tomorrow
