So, just curious... I have crappy knees (see other post) and I'm getting ready to be scheduled for a Fulkerson Osteotemy. My tibias are rotated and I've recently started to have ankle pain. I've had it in the past, and just thought that I stepped in a hole or something, but I'm wondering if my ankle pain could be a result of my bad knees? It feels as if I have rolled it or twisted it.  It's not sore enough to not be able to walk on it, just slightly painful. the leg that the ankle is hurting is the one that I will be having surgery on the first time. So, I'm hoping that it will work itself out. Thoughts?

The Fulkerson and whatever my OSs decide to do while I'm in surgery will correct the rotation issues I have they have assured me of that, so no worries there. my hope is that the other ankle doesn't start hurting while I'm on crutches and dependent on that leg.

Thanks. I guess on the bright side, if my non surgeried knee and ankle act up, I will have pain meds to help me. And hopefully, by this time next year, all of these issues will be gone and I will be pain free. A feeling I haven't had in years.
