I had an ACL reconstruction just over 3 weeks ago on left knee using hamstring Graft and was hoping someone could offer some advice as I cannot get hold of my P.T till tomorrow.
All has been going great with the rehab so far, walking near normal, full range of movement and little pain until yesterday. The new excersices that my P.T gave me on Monday I have been keeping up with religiously but as of yesterday, the knee seems to have swollen up considerably, pain has increased and everytime I bend my leg now it is as if the back of my knee/top of calf is going to go into cramp and very painful. I also cant seem to put anywhere near as much weight on the leg.
My question is: is this normal or something I should be worried about? I have checked for signs of infection round the wounds and all seems fine.
Thanks in advance for any comments.
