I had an exploratory scope done on 12-18-11. He said he removed some torn parts of my menisci and took out some plica. He never told me how much meniscus he took out. I was "Expected" to be recovered the next month.I was on crutches for 2 weeks, then off and on for about another 1-2 weeks. I had my knee aspirated also from excessive swelling. (He also told me, way before surgery, I had a sprained MCL. still hurts today)
My knee is in more pain than before I had the surgery. (My PT, i'm done with that now, but he thought I could have torn my meniscus again.)
I tried to run today. And my knee still felt like it was going to give out, even with my brace on. I had a pinching sensation in the middle, inside of my knee. And it felt like bone on bone. And a sharp pain where MCL is.
Any idea on what any of those symptoms could mean?
(I go back to him on June 5. I am ordering a "professional" brace you could say. Breg, donjoy, bledsoe, or townsend, because I am playing soccer next year, my senior year. He approved if I could handle my pain. I've been playing in pain for 5 years.)
