First off, this is my first post here, so hey everyone!
Second, I posted this topic in another thread; didn't really know which it would fall under, so sorry for the spamming...
I tore my ACL at the end of my ball season last summer (I am a fastball pitcher). I had it repaired on Sept. 29 and am therefore 7 months post op. Everything is going well with my knee, except any time after working impact training I get a burning pain on the front of my shin. I had the hamstring graft, so it's right over the incision. It seems to be a surface pain since when I wear my brace (which has a rigid front tibia portion) it makes it worse.
I have been doing physical training and stuff to get back to throwing. I can skip no problem, but that is more controlled. Anyway sometimes the pain gets really bad and going up and down stairs (basically anything on my toes) can cause that burning, fork-in-shin pain.
It's really worrying me and I'd like to get rid of it in order to start throwing again for real for the season. Any help or comments would be appreciated!
Thanks a lot!
