Im 5 months since my last surgery so im still working hard on it. Iv got full extension and nearly full rom (once warmed up). I dont have full rom when my knee is cold, but this is mainly due to my surgeon putting my MCL so tight, although he said it would loosen off. My knee is stable, if i wanted to go running i could, if i wanted to go cycling i could. My main sport is rugby so im still trying to build my knee back up for that, my problem is not that my leg is physically weak, as its pretty strong. Its just getting over that mental hurdle. For example i was doing box jumps at the gym today, I knew i could do it, but my mind was telling me not to.
I understand your frustration about wanting to get on with it, honestly youve just got to be patient, im the exactly the same as you. I go to lower limb rehabilitation classes for an hour every week. I would get the program i was meant to do in an hour 5 times.
