hello everyone,
i am undergoing my second recovery from ACL reconstruction. during my first operation, a cadaver graft was used, and recovery went great. very quickly i had a feeling of a properly "knit together" knee and normalcy. unfortunately, that graft didn't last.
this operation i had a hamstring graft. it's been three months since the operation, and i can't honestly say it feels any better. no pain, but i still have that "dumb leg" feeling and what feels to me as the same amount of laxity as pre-op. it feels if someone bumps into me or if i'm forced to pivot laterally it would fold back up underneath me.
my therapist doesn't seem too worried about, but all the times i've felt something was wrong with my knee, i was right.
i sincerely appreciate any feedback.
