So how is your swelling coming along after the normal session? Any improvements?
I still have a bit of swelling around the portals as well, although otherwise the knee is looking not so bad. I was still having problems this week with the fat pad, and I thought I aggravated it again when I was getting the same kind of pressure on the lateral side of the knee when trying to do squats.
My physio told me to "get on with it" and that was the correct advice, as when I actually pushed through the pressure it let go! I don't know if that's because the fat pad only hinders flexion right at the start of the movement, or whether it's something else in the knee causing the pressure, like scar tissue.
Well thanks to that, I have now done two serious quad sessions, doing squats in the lunge position, and finally feel the burn in my operated leg. The pain from the fat pad or whatever the problem tissue was, is almost completely gone. I still have lots of clicking, but my gait is almost 100% fine, going down stairs is much smoother and overall things seem good.
