Hi everybody,
anyone has/have had knee arthrofibrosis with a main symptomatic bumped area, except fat pad that can bulge out if fibrotic on both side of the patellar tendon?
I always wondered so...I've never met another person having AF in general but mainly complaining about a specific, very well visible/remarkable bumped area, this beeing the main problem due to: amount of the overthickness in there and the fact that this overthickness blockes the whole area including all the normal anatomical structures passing through there (like tendons, muscles insertions, joint capsule, etc.) even unbalancing the knee patellar mechanic as part of it slides under the kneecap extending the leg and/or the overthickness makes the patella tracked towards this area changing the way it should cover, plus even with flexion around 140° it's soo rooted or anyway so bad that standing and bending my leg behind myself like simulating hamstring curl like this image (
http://www.welove2ski.com/images/features/fitness_hamcurl1.jpg) it starts incredibly pulling like if everything in there is breaking just bending over 60° (the more the worse).
I have this from the very beginning, I know it's not the only problem but for sure the main one (and I literally mean MAIN), never came up clear what the hell is actually bumping this area, regardless surgeries and exams - joint capsule badly deformed, a deeply rooted mass/pile of fibrosis/scar tissues, or whatever else..
Anyone else so lucky? I guess it usually happens with a specific 1st procedure that involved that specific area, not a meniscus repair surgery, for instance.
Thank you - bye
