Hey guys,
Iv had some pain on top of my knee cap for many years now, I decided to see a doctor about it and he sent me away for an x-ray.
The x-ray showed a tiny bit of bone had chiped off the top of my knee cap, he said that it wouldnt be the cause of my pain though 
He told me to rub some Anti-inflammatory gel into it for a few weeks.
I did this any nothing changed, so i went back and he sent me away for a "bone scan" ?
The results showed a lot of inflammation on the top of my knee.

So the docs just told me iv got Quad tendonitis,
Exactly where it hurts iv got a bump on my knee cap which i can physically feel, so what im asking is can tendonitis actualy form a bump/lump ?
