Well, I guess it is my turn to be up tonight!  I went to bed at 10:30 and I did fall asleep!  Everything is so tight again!  UGH!  Darned IT band.  I have been trying to do the stretches for it, but it hurts like crazy in my hip!  I think I am going to have to pay to get hurt again!  I cannot do it to myself!

Hey chaps, hope you are all ok today, I had a horrible evening with Mr Crips burning my poor knee like crazy, got me very miserable - surprise surprise... It calmed down a bit after midnight and I went to bed, managed to get to sleep in the end, but am shattered this morning...

Nowt to do with rowing as too delayed. Phew.

Well Gang,
MRI is booked for the 20th of April See OS 9th of May so hopefully have a plan to move forward instead of the stalled position I am in at the present.
Oh I am on a roll 2 nights no sleep. How long can I go?? Spent the night with my knee in my hands curled up like a baby crying. Not fun.

Wow..that was fast!  I guess he must have ordered it as urgent!  RK4, you must be pleased that this is moving MUCH faster than you anticipated!  Sorry the pain continues to be such a sleep destroyer!  The good news is that soon you will reach the point of exhaustion, and just crash!

It is usually a longer wait than that W but I do have a friend in patient booking. Closer to 8 to 10 weeks. Everyone in town must have already had one. When they built the new Hospital they put in an MRI I already made my donation for its purchase a couple years ago as I knew sooner or later I might need one. Yes happy but very tired. Still have a bunch of stuff to do today.

Rk...Hey, good to hear that you are getting in to see someone so quickly!  It does pay to know people. Sorry you were in so much pain last night.  Can you take double the dose of painkillers for now or is this a no no?  Obviously, whatever you are getting isn't enough and no one should live with such horrible pain!

W...WTF is going on with you and your lack of sleep as well?!  I think you should see a massage therapist who does structural work.  Is your current MT doing work on the Tensor Fascia Latae?  Until this muscle becomes 'unglued' you will never free up the ITB.  You have a good working knowledge of anatomy so try googling self massage to the TFL and see what comes up.  I do have a list of preferred practitioners that are trained in myofascial/structural work but most are here in the U.S. If you'd like, I can send you a link to see the three that are close to you.  Hope you get some good sleep tonight. 

Brams...Sorry that Mr. Crips appeared and gave you some grief.  Hope you got to take a nap today.

Hey Robin!  My MT is down south, soaking up some rays!  My anatomy knowledge is pretty good, but I am going to have to Google that one!  We don't deal with the muscles on the same level that you folks do!  My MT does do myofascial release, and I felt pretty good after the last massage.  He's back next week, and I have an appointment for Wednesday!  I'll have to put up for another week! 

I am not sure why this is happening.  It never happened after any of my other procedures.  I just wish it would go away!  I have tried stretching again a couple of times today.  It really hurts, and I can feel it all the way down my leg!  Robin...I wish you were closer!

Ah...I am sounding like I should ask for some cheese with this "whine"!

I am still alive!! I have reports coming out of my ears and when I have a lot of stuff to type I can't face typing for fun some evenings! I shall reply more fully tomorrow. Also seen some new clients and my brain is full! Robin - interview is not til the 12th so I am quite safe at the moment!

Hope everyone gets some sleep tonight. Ah the TFL, I remember that from my PT course and how to get your foam roller "at it" - deeply fun and quite tricky!! W, I think you need to bash M Jnr into your muscles and use him like a foam roller......kind of might work?! Brams - hope that crips stays away tonight. Wonder if its the wet weather? Reggie is quite calm but he never used to like the rain either...but he is partly bionic so I always think that picks up wet signals!

Right I must go sleep, I am pooped out. Hugs to all else, proper reply tomorrow....and Tez, pics of that new car please!! RK4, good news on the MRI happening sooner than later too....A, how goes things? I have been thinking of you.

My day has gone down hill fast, had to go to the lawyers over farm issues, my daughters cat did the quick escape from the house and got hit on the road and she is crushed and of course she escaped on my watch so I feel about as quilty as a criminal.. .  My knees kill and it isn't even dark yet so hate to think what tonight will bring but d**n it better be some sleep. So all and all a sucky day,,, man I hope tomorrow is better.

W break out the A535 and have a friend give the leg and hip a good firm rub.

Awww Rk4, what a terrible thing to happen  So NOT your fault though, cats (bless them) are quick and determined and sometimes daft wee things....

Well Gang,
2 hours sleep does not a night make. The pain woke me up as it shot around under my kneecap then down my tibia and up my femur. Man I hate when it does that.

Awwww, RK4, I am so sorry for your daughter and poor kitty. But it isn't your fault, although I know you'll feel guilty. If a cat wants out it will get out. Sending hugs across the pond and I hope the knees settle down. Sure sounds like they've ramped up the ante recently again. :-(
