I have not had this, as I just had my ACI to my patella yesterday along with AMZ, but there is someboy on the boards who has...actually with my same Dr. His name on here is ajshelnk (something like that??). His has a trochlear lesion that failed microfracture and had a trochlea ACI/AMZ last December 2009.
I did not have microfracture before my ACI. Based on my scope when he went in, the lesion was not amenable to microfracture based upon size, depth, location. The lesion actually ended up bigger also than what as initially estimated on the scope. Scope showed 1.5 cm x 1.5 cm and yesterday it was determined to be 2 cm x 2 cm.
