I would have been understanding in my TKR was recalled.   I had three (3) OS who misdiagnosed my AF as infection and despite every single test known to man, taking samples, and nuclear (3 phase indium bone scans) the infectious disease docs and OS declared I was infected.  I had the TKR repeated multiple times for a knee that was not infected, just full of scar tissue.

The inherent problem suggested in some of the literature I've read about off-the-shelf Total Knee Designs, is that if this product, which isn't necessarily designed for your anatomy in the first-place, doesnt quite fit properly, it contributes to a leading cause of patient dissatisfaction following TKR surgery.  And there is absolutely nothing one can do about a mal-aligned or mis-sized TKR with a generic-like off the shelf design once its' in; other than to take it out.
