He wanted to put in 3 screws but there was only enough room for 2. My scar is a good 6 or 7 inches long. Its that long because I had to have a lateral release repair along with the TTT.

3 months 2 days post op.
I am still doing great. I am doing 30 minutes on the eliptical without any pain and the strength is slowly coming back. I am so glad I decided to do this and can't wait to get the other knee fixed.
I hope everyone else is doing well.

It appears you made a good decision in choosing your doctor!

Good job Doug! I am glad that things worked out for you. I am still working hard with my PT and am hoping by fall I will be clear to start snowmobiling again! Take care!

I guess I should give an update. I am about 7 months post op and doing well. I am able to do anything I want with the only exeption being kneeling on my screws. That doesn't feel so good. I am doing 4 spin classes a week and my legs feel great. My right hip is all sorts of screwed up and hurts now and again but overall I am doing well.
Hope everyone else is feeling good and enjoying the summer.
