I've just downloaded this app to my 1st generation itouch and it works great. Bad news is my bad knee only bends to 75 degrees on its own, 84 degrees if I grab it and pull till I can't stand the pain any more. My good knee bends to more than 145 degrees.  :-[

This app works well. Took it to PT and had therapist check measurements--it was accurate within 1 degree of her manual measurement! I find it only works properly if I am in a seated position however. Can't get it to work if laying down. For .99 its great and accurate! Thanks for the tip.

Sounds really easy - what will they think of next? I used an old fashioned (indeed, OLD) carpenter's ruler - the wooden type with a brass hinge in the middle. Got my partner to hold against ankle bone and hip bone, then drew the angle onto a piece of paper and measured it with a plastic protractor. What a performance!

I just downloaded this app, and it works very well. It's more accurate than the plastic goniometer that I bought a few years ago, and it's very easy to use.

My left knee (TKR over three years ago) has about 110 ROM,  and the right "good knee" is about 130.

Not bad for 99 cents...

Downloaded this earlier tonight and not only does it work great, it really impressed my physio! It was accurate to within a degree or two of his reading.

For the record, good knee (good being relative; it's not without issues) was 142 and bad knee (complete ACL tear just over two weeks ago) was 107.

I've had it for a while, and showed it to my physical therapist.  We compared the Ipod to her measurements, and they were withing about 3 degrees of each other.  I'm impressed for 0.99 cents.  I'm going to be having surgery in less than two weeks, a lateral release, TTT, and possible medial reefing, so this Ipod app will be great for me to check my range of motion at home :)

I downloaded this and it cost $4.99 and I must be doing something wrong as I can never get an accurate measurement.  Directions for a dork anyone?

I have just downloaded this app for €3.99. There are no instructions,
I have absolutely no idea how to use it. Obviously I'm a bit dumb, but anyone
willing to give me instructions would be very appreciated. Thank you so much in
advance.
