BioDuct Miniscal Fixation Device
« on: August 24, 2009, 06:20:46 PM »
Does anyone have any knowledge about this new technology for healing of meniscal tears?  I can only find bits of information about this techology approved by the FDA in the fall of 2007.

I just looked this up and it looks really interesting...I wish this was out earlier before I had my surgery.  Seems like it solves the problem of lacking blood flow to the meniscus.  I don't think it is out on the market yet...but you should contact the company and ask when it will be available.

Good Luck!!

This is the information I was able to find.  It is a technique that gives those with low blood flow meniscal damage a chance of healing!
