Guys...could really, really use your support.  This is getting scary and beyond painful and disruptive.  I got knocked down again in Grand Central last night.  The usual....5 track changes simultaneously.  Our ancent Metro North equipment does this to the evening rush at least once a week....

I saw it coming...avoided 4 collisions...but the 5th got me....A couple of thousand commuters running full speed toward various tracks...criss crossing directions..I cannot make stops or cuts and the last guy cut twice and got me..

At least it's time for needle work and I set the appt tmrw aft right after a big meeting....(had the appt made Monday because I've been in agony since I got back from my trip, which was great and Boy do I wish I lived in Northern California).

Thanks for letting me vent...I fall down like a drunk during Sr. Week...No one can help..and I just have to live like this..NYC is the worst place for me..but I have to get paid..

Thanks for letting me vent...I'm so worn out and sad and I cannot keep this up...

Lenore,  Lyndsey, Suzanne, Beth..Hope you guys are doing well...But, this is a bad one.  I don't know how much more of this I can take.

Long hrs here at the law firm and working wkends on RPF biz either on LI or toward New Haven here in CT.

At least I had the smarts (although it hurt and made me angry)not to see Bruce at Giants Stadium, scene of last yr's push down the stairs disaster.  After reading a "Drunken Fan" thread on the BTX Board I know I made the right choice.

No girfriend, cannot tell my family..and I know you guys know the drill.... horrible pain, swelling, no sleep, instability of every new spill.

Thanks and Good Vibes and healing thoughts for everyone.

Ronnie

Hi Ronnie, I read that thread as well, and knew you were wise not to get mixed up in that.  I expect that MSG may be calling your name later on.  I constantly have to watch the moves of other people & on top of that, try to predict what their next one will be.  I can't imagine a rushing crowd like that.  Also, at the same time we need to watch for obstacles on the ground & slippery spots!  Hang in there & feel free to talk to me any time.  Good luck tomorrow.  Whit & I watched our first rugby game the other day.  (part of it)  You were a wild one!  Where did you play?  Don't forget, when times get tough, your friends here understand better than anyone.

Hey Ronnie,

I can't even imagine trying to navigate a crowd like that, let alone do it more than once! I'm so sorry you got knocked.....us kneegeeks can't really move out of the way or sidestep people. I hope your needle work helped! When you get down, just remember we all care and understand here. We are always here to listen to any frustrations and down feelings you have. I hope we can help bring your spirits up!

I really truly hope you are feeling better! Lots and Lots of hugs and good good vibes!
Take care!
Lyndsey

Thanks so much Lyndsey.  Very much needed and appreciated.  How's your hip feeling?  We even had some wet snow last night and it's been cold and nasty.  They're talking about a Noreaster this wkend.  Not good knee weather of course.

Beth, Lenore, Suzanne, hope you guys are staying warm and pain free.

I posted this on the other thread, but it ties in as things are not great physically or otherwise.

UPDATE

Guys, pls send hugs and good vibes.  The ACL area is hot and puffy.  It's purple, burns and feels like post surgical or injury pain.  He may have nicked the tendon graft.  This is not good.  I even have the muscle spasms at the back of the knee and the weird, weak feeling in the leg.

And I'm still going to work every day, praying I don't fall.

I'm hoping it's just a by product of last wk's fall, the extensive needle work and the broken scar tissue, but I just don't need this.

I'm slipping down again, the pain, whatever this new development is and the "friend" referred to above sent an e-mail with attitude asking if I was still "talking" to her.  I'm very hurt, feel taken advantage of and well...you know.

Have to work this wkend with the New Haven band.  A crowded club is surely a minfield as you know.

I do hope everyone is doing well...but could use some cyber hugs and support.  Seems kinda quiet on the thread, or maybe peeps are just weary of my whining.

Have a Good Wkend Everyone,

Ronnie

Hey Ronnie,

I think it is pretty quiet around the board. I haven't had many people commenting on my thread either.....so I figured i'd come visit yours! I really hope you didn't nick the tendon graft, that would be awful! Hopefully the swelling and redness will go away soon! I am praying you don't fall too! I really do pray that you catch a break from all this soon....

As far as my hip goes, it hasn't been too good the past couple of days. I think it is a combination of things......I went to a big horse show in Ohio on Wednesday, and was on my feet walking around all day. The weather here has been really cold and wet too, flurries are in the forecast! On top of all that, i'm pretty sure the cortisone shot I had a while back has completely worn off. My tendon is snapping over the plate and irritating that hip bursa more than ever! I do hope it lets up soon, because I have been taking more Darvocet than I have in a while, and I really hate to do that. I am limping worse than ever too, I really hope once the plates come out this will be better!

I'm sending lots of good vibes to you, and could use some in return! Lol, really though, I hope you feel better soon!
