That is because the needle is on the right and the empty space on the left (sorry my crappy explanation due to language barriers..) that allows u to hold and guide the fabric with ur left hand and as it's the dominant hand, therefore sewing is easier. As told, I just read that somewhere, really hadn't thought about it earlier. Didn't even know to think of such a thing! But it's funny what u can find out later in life ;)

Luck to ur blooming carrier as a fashion designer!  ;D

haha thanks, those are some good facts to know. though i have a passion for fashion (oh i can rhyme :) :)) through my experiences with my knees, i would more realisticly want to be an OS or something of the sort.

ambidexterous.  Write, eat, used to play tennis right handed. Bat lefthanded,Throw left, catch right in softball. used to shoot hockey left handed. But would catch with the left when I played goalie.  ::)

hi im claire - 30 yrs old,i live in yorkshire (u.k)
i had a motorcycle accident-landed on right knee!(mar 05)
...arthroscopy - 4th feb 06.
...VMO Advancement,LR+Medial reefing - 24th jan 07.
...28 feb 07 i fell down 14 stairs.....more pain and stress!
...now at PT working on ROM and strenghening

Im a righty! I try writing with my left hand but its just plain sloppiness. I can type with my left hand though.

knee pain started March 8,07 when i fell and my knee twisted.

still haven't gone to an Orthopedic surgeon! But I hurt my knee again on 12/4/08.

Im 25 and have injured my knee twice now!

RIP Dad! I miss you-I lost my Dad in May(2008)

Lefty!!! But I do pretty much everything with my right hand. And one day I will come up with left-handed binders and paper that DON'T cost more than their righty counterparts. Discrimination! I live in such a right-handed world.  :P

I'm a lefty! At kindergarten they tried to make me right-handed and again in Primary School then they gave up. I do everything with my left hand except kayaking where I am right-handed - I was not told there was a choice as to which side controlled the paddle!

Well, I am home today, in pain and on pain meds, and am having a blast finally being able to go through the boards.  The Who's Who is so much fun.

I am right handed.  The funny thing is, I can only use a computer mouse left handed.  For the life of me, I cannot use the thing right handed.  Must be a brain thingy with me, or as my husband says, my Polish coming out.  No offense to anyone.  I am 1/2 Polish.  It's a little joke he has with me.

Haha you might be awesome but I can get a $1000 left-handed scholarship if I handwrite an essay and mail it in.  ;D ;D
