Call the OS in the morning.  Maybe you pulled a muscle.  Who knows.   The doctor  is your best resource.

make sure your hydrating yourself with fluids.  Rest and relax.  Every day something wonderful or weird can happen post surgery.  Ask your OS if he can write something for it.  Who knows when it will pop up again and who the heck needs to be in pain.  I had quad cramps and lidoderm patches worked well and remembering to hydrate myself at night and I ate a banana for a solid week at night helped.

They say Tonic water with quinine helps for leg cramps

I pulled a muscle on my left leg last week and mobic helped settle it down.

While I never had taken anti depressants .. I had taken Xanax for those moments where I thought I was not moving as fast as I should while crossing streets ..  I just kept my eye on the prize being able to walk.  To this day when my left knee aches. I keep ranting.. I am doing good..  I am walking with out canes or crutches or braces..   In fact nobody who doesnt know me couldnt pick me with having a fake knee.

There will be good days and bad days .. There is no magic thing to say other than be patient and ride out the happening of the day.. If it becomes too uncomfortable ..  Ringa ding ding the doc.  I do not think PT would do anything other than strengthen your muscles.. and build up latic acid.

I been watching the TV show on ABC called The Mole.   Can you imagine these people are jumping off water falls for a half million dollars and someone is trying to sabotage them from earning it all.

I can't believe homegoods didnt care if an employee was harmed.  Stupid Corporations or a stupid manager.
How many more days to the dance?   I tell ya go get a shot from the OS  and mention the leg craps.

Feel better..  you will be trotting around again soon..  just have to take it slow.

It is raining over here again

thanks plumb, i will check back with the OS today, he is in surgery so will be late but will call back. i can bend to far or goes into spasms, was a very long night, i sleep with that knee drawn up and every time i drew it up it went into spasms. today it is swollen and sooooo stiff and sore! it is rainy and stormy here today also, calling for rain for a week, that does nothing to improve the mood or pain. i watched The Mole last time it was on, i loved it and did not even come close to figuring out the mole but neither did hubby..LOL  it is amazing what they put themselves through isnt it, i wondered why it only aired once and was gone... couldnt find enough nuts to do it!! LOL, have a great day, going to ice knee and butt, thanks again, denise

Bananas eat lots of bananas. I get spasms every time I work out unless I eat a banana. Best part is I hate bananas can't stand them. But they do tend to help. I met a older guy at therapy the other day(my guess late 60's early 70's) he had a double knee replacement three weeks a go and is walking around with just a cane. Could not believe how well this guy was getting around. Over 135 degrees of flex in both legs and full extension. The A.A.R.P. card holders are super healers, blows my mind how well he is doing. My last day of physical therapy is Monday the 9th and I get my work ability test on Tuesday. Should be back at work around the end of the month by time doctors clear me and my drug test comes back. Government employee their a little slow.
I also watch "the Mole" I don't care for John Kelly as the host, never liked as the sports guy on channel 5 either in Chicago. Funny thing is I would have no problem jumping off the water fall but as soon as they had me kneel I would be tossed out. Funny how that works. Any way hope things calm down for you and the spasms remember bananas!

rotten good to hear from you!was wondering about you. glad you are winding down from this nasty mess and are able to get back to work, sure hope it all works out for you, it has been a long haul. i know what you mean about seeing a "double" move right along, im not sure what makes it different or if it is the OS,im not sure, i do know that at 50 i surpassed all goals and blew them all out of the water! have to admit it was pretty entertaining to watch faces when it dawned on them i had a double! i know what you mean about John Kelly, i dont think im going to finish  this one out, i simply cant stand him, i loved the last host... anderson?..cooper?...anyway i will get bananas, things have calmed some, i can sleep now, there for a few days it was so intense i could hardly walk , sit, sleep, neighbor gave me potassium tablets. went to  future daughter-in-laws bachelorette party and stayed out till 2 am  so i was very impressed with me that i still have it in me and the knees didnt scream" take me home!!"take care, denise

i wish i could get a firm grip on depression, i thank god i realise it and medicate for it, i dont produce but a trace amount of seritonin so i medicate, the switching of meds is harder that i thought it would be, taking  old one in am, new one in pm, i think hubby is at wits end,  im spending to much time alone, sleeping, see dr again on friday for follow up, i think i am on target  ,,, said it is a transitional thing,,, guess i need to keep busy, went for a walk in the wedding shoes.. feel good, not sure how i will do to wear tham for 10 hours but  we will see and not worry about it/need to have kids come over and shovel out some plants to put in red ones for daughters wedding next summer, need to move out some yellow  day lillies and add some red ones, going to watch kate plus eight, i love that show, love tham when you can, they are only on loan for a short amount of time, moon
