1 Year Post-op check up & discharge
« on: February 07, 2008, 10:59:13 AM »
Just thought i'd let everyone know my good news!! Saw the OS yesterday the knee is stable and solid, and I am still doing all the things I want to do. Decided however not to return to football (36 anyway).
Cant believe how quick the year from surgery has gone, but they say as you get older time seems to go faster!

Well im hoping after 3 ACLR's I can finally say I have had my last!!

Wish everyone a speedy recovery, will pop back on the board now and then to see how your all getting on.

Cheers

Congrats Shiney!  I just had my 1 year yesterday and will post a few thoughts in a minute.  Sorry to hear you quit football, but after 3 ACLrs, I would agree it is the prudent choice.  If I did miine again, I would not return to play, but I am also 54.

best wishes,  Mirek
